‘Fixer Upper’ Chip & Joanna Gaines Have Fifth Child, Break ‘D’ Name Tradition

On Saturday morning, the Fixer Upper couple Chip and Joanna Gaines welcomed their fifth child who entered the world two and a half weeks early. His name is Crew Gaines. This is their first son without a name beginning with the letter “D.”

Chip confirmed the newborn’s healthy birth via Twitter.

And then there were 5.. The Gaines crew is now 1 stronger! 10 beautiful toes and 10 beautiful fingers all accounted for, and big momma is doing great! #blessedBeyondBelief

Joanna also shared a picture from the hospital, gazing at her bundle of joy from the bed.

Our baby boy, Crew Gaines, is here and we couldn’t be more in love. He made an unexpected (and speedy) entrance into the world two and a half weeks early – which is fitting given he was a sweet surprise from day one. Thank you for all your thoughts and prayers. We are so grateful.

Joanna has also shared updates during her presidency including food cravings.

Woke up this morning at 2:30 AM and was craving fruity pebbles, a pimento cheese sandwich, chicken spaghetti, deviled eggs, and ranch dressing. Didn’t have any of that so I made myself some cookies. With all the restaurant’s final tastings, the cookbook (yes these cookies are in it!), and this pregnancy-I’m definitely growing at a record rate👌🏽#magnoliatable

The two are already parents to Emmie Kay, 8, Duke, 9, Ella, 11, and Drake, 13.
