Bill Murray at San Diego Comic Con
Netflix has unveiled the first trailer for a special musical featuring Bill Murray, A Very Murray Christmas, which is set for Dec. 4 release on the streaming service.
The special, which was directed by Sofia Coppola, will be a musical with some dialogue in between songs. “We’re going to do it like a little movie,” Murray told Vanity Fair. “It won’t have a format, but it’s going to have music. It will have texture. It will have threads through it that are writing. There will be prose.”
Also starring in the special are George Clooney, Miley Cyrus, Amy Poehler, Michael Cera, Rashida Jones, Jason Schwartzman, and Chris Rock with the musical likes of Paul Shaffer and the indie rock band Phoenix.
