The Republican National Convention will take place next week, and the White House has confirmed Melania Trump will be one of the speakers.

A spokeswoman for the first lady, Stephanie Grisham, shared Trump’s speech will be Tuesday night and aired from the Rose Garden, which has been undergoing a renovation.

The first lady spoke before at the 2016 national convention but has not given many speeches since.

The multi-day convention will conclude with President Trump formally accepting the nomination for reelection in a speech from the White House on Thursday, a move that has met with controversy as it appears to violate federal law.
