Final 5 Idols Sing For Lives

The final five contestants on American Idol performed for the nation on Tuesday night and the judges were decidedly split. Matt Giraud's “My Funny Valentine” was given a “6 out of 10,” by Randy but Simon thought it was “absolutely brilliant.” And while Simon thought Kris Allen's “The Way You Look Tonight” was "a little wet” – British for "uncool" – the other judges adored it. Simon also pronounced Allison Iraheta, 17, "in danger" after her version of “Someone to Watch Over Me." Only Danny Gokey seemed to win over all of the judges with “Come Rain or Come Shine.” (Photo: WENN)
