A bombshell FBI report provides more details about a violent 2016 argument between Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt on their private plane.
According to the report, Jolie accused Pitt of grabbing her by the head and shoulders, shaking her back and forth and yelling, “You’re f—ing up this family.”
The actress alleged that two of their children were “outside the door and crying and asked, ‘Are you okay mommy?'” Pitt reportedly responded, “No, mommy’s not okay. She’s ruining this family.”
The actress also filed photos of her bruised hand and elbow to contribute to the investigation.
Pitt reportedly punched the plane ceiling several times. He allegedly racked up $25,000 worth of plane damages.
Jolie believed Pitt was intoxicated at the time of the event.
Following an investigation, there were no charges filed against Pitt.
Earlier this year, a Jane Doe filed a Freedom Of Information Act lawsuit against the FBI that challenged their lack of response to the Pitt assault allegations.
News site Puck confirmed that Jolie is the Jane Doe in question, and the lawsuit details “track closely with accusations” from Jolie.
Pitt has previously denied the allegations of abuse.
In May 2017, Pitt opened up to GQ about his choice to stop drinking.
“I was boozing too much. It’s just become a problem,” he admitted. “I’m really happy it’s been half a year now, which is bittersweet, but I’ve got my feelings in my fingertips again.”
Jolie said in 2020 that she “separated for the well-being of [her] family.” She shared, “It was the right decision. I continue to focus on their healing.”
Jolie filed for divorce in 2016 and there is an ongoing ugly custody battle.
