Farrah Abraham is in the news again after botched lip injections caused the Teen Mom star’s upper lip to swell a very unnatural amount, landing her in the hospital.
Abraham, 23, shared photos of her inflamed upper lip, which protrudes past her chin, on Twitter, telling fans she was in the ER. “Girlfriends don’t say I didn’t warn ya!” Abraham captioned the shocking pictures.
Abraham has been open about undergoing plastic surgery in the past. The reality star has admitted to getting a nose job, two breast enhancements and a chin implant, which she later had removed. She has also spoken openly about “experimenting” with lip injections. During an appearance on Bethenny in October of 2013, Abraham told Bethenny Frankel that she was done with plastic surgery, but reports suggest that her new lips are actually the result of an implant gone wrong, not lip injections.
According to reports, Abraham underwent a new procedure, which substitutes an implant for lip injections. TMZ reports that the doctor gave her an anesthetic before the procedure, and Abraham believes she had an allergic reaction, causing the swelling. Abraham is supposedly turning to Bravo reality star and cosmetic dermatology expert Tabasum Mir (The Singles Project) for help.
