Farrah Abraham is currently working as a dancer in an Austin, Tex., strip club and claims that she is doing “research” like Jennifer Aniston.
Abraham was recently hired at the Palazio Gentlemen’s Club, and, while she began working there as a cocktail waitress, she soon graduated to stripping. “She was hired a couple of weeks ago as a cocktail waitress but wanted to make more money dancing, so they moved her up to the stage,” a source told E! News.
Abraham, who has already made a fortune with a foray into the porn industry, confirmed her new job, but insists that she isn’t just stripping to make money, she’s doing research.
“I’m doing research. A friend of mine works there and I’m researching. I’ve been trying out all the roles that make up a gentleman’s club, including cocktailing and dancing. There’s management and there’s cooking too. It’s job shadowing that I hope pays off,” Abraham said.
Considering her interest in culinary school, as documented on MTV’s Teen Mom, it may appear as though Abraham is planning on opening a gentleman’s club of her own. However, Abraham hinted that she is interested in doing something more creative, comparing herself to Jennifer Aniston, who researched her role as a stripper in last summer’s We’re The Millers.
“In the same way Jennifer Aniston researched her role as a stripper, that’s what I’m doing. It’s how I get the information to write my books and do my movies. Unfortunately, I’m not free to talk about what those future projects may be. But I’m interested in hearing all the women’s stories. And while I’m doing it, I’m getting paid. I’m getting paid to play a role and get informed,” Abraham stated.
Sources say she appeared completely at ease on stage. “She was definitely not shy and looked like she knew what she was doing. She was wearing a nude thong and bejeweled bra. She wasn’t awkward at all and was actually quite good.”
Meanwhile, Abraham is also hosting a lingerie party in Sacramento, Calif., on Friday, Aug. 15.
