Fans Mock Drake For His New Hairstyle Featuring Pigtails With Barrettes

Drake has received negative reactions from fans after posting a mirror selfie on Instagram, showing off his new hairstyle which features pigtails and barrettes. 

The musician, 37, took to Instagram, showcasing his hair styled in pigtails, parted down the middle, accessorizing the look with chunky, blue barrettes. 

In the post, the rapper wore an all-denim look with baggy jeans, a matching button-up shirt and a leather varsity jacket. 

Drake, who is days away from his 38th birthday, was slammed by fans for his attempt to rock the hair style. 

One fan commented “Drake with those f—ing pigtails, EIGHT DAYS away from being THIRTY EIGHT years old is p—ing me off so bad.”

While some were not pleased with his choice, others defended his new look. 

“Snoop Dog wore his hair like this and all crazy hairstyles all [sic] time in his young years and everybody loved it from what I saw as a kid lol so what’s the problem with drake rockin his hair,” another fan commented.

Although some were taken back by his hair, it is not the first time Drake has incorporated a style like this. In 2023, the rapper was seen wearing hair clips while promoting his album For All The Dogs. 

In July, a flood damaged Drake’s $100 million Toronto mansion.
