Pink received a surprise at her June 25 BST Hyde Park show in London when someone in the crowd threw a plastic bag of gray powder at her onstage while she was performing “Just Like a Pill.” The pop star halted her performance to ask the fan if the substance in the bag was human ashes.

“This is your mom?” Pink asked. “I don’t know how I feel about this.”

The music artist then set the bag behind a speaker at the front of the stage. After a moment of confusion, she went back to performing. Pink did not refer to the bag again during the concert.

The concert was part of two shows at Hyde Park where Pink was joined by Gwen Stefani. Earlier this week, Pink said in an Instagram post that she looked up to Stefani as a big sister, adding a photo of the pair smiling together backstage.

Earlier in June, the pop singer began her 2023-2024 Summer Carnival tour in support of her 2023 album Trustfall. Gayle, The Script, Brandi Carlile and more will be joining the tour as supporting acts on select dates.

Pink’s daughter Willow, 12, is an unofficial supporting act. At a June 7 show in Bolton, England, Willow made a surprise guest appearance to perform “Cover Me in Sunshine” with her mom. The track was released by the pair in 2021 during the COVID-19 pandemic. Speaking about the song, Pink said, “We’re putting this song out for no other reason than that we hope it brings you sweetness, sunshine and comfort, too.”
