'Falling Skies' Renewed For Third Season
It was just a few weeks ago that the Steven Spielberg-produced Falling Skies returned to TNT for season two after escaping cancellation, but now the Noah Wyle-starring series has established some stable footing, as TNT announced that the post-apocalyptic show will be renewed for a third season.
"With all the memorable and surprising moments taking place during the second season of Falling Skies, we can't wait to see what DreamWorks Television and Falling Skies' terrific production team and cast members have in store for season three," said TNT president and head of programming, Michael Wright.
Falling Skies picked up viewership toward the end of season one and season two with its compelling characters, played by Moon Bloodgood (Anne Glass), Drew Roy (Hal Mason), Connor Jessup (Ben Mason), Maxim Knight (Matt Mason) and Seychelle Gabriel (Lourdes), and its suspensful story lines.
You can catch Falling Skies Sundays at 9 p.m. EST on TNT.
