In a sit-down conversation with uInterview, actress Virginia Gardner shared her experience working with Lucy Hale on her new movie F- Marry Kill, an adventure comedy that follows a true-crime obsessive as she tries to figure out which one of the three men she met on a dating app is a serial killer. Reflecting on what drew her to the role, Gardner told uInterview founder Erik Meers, “I’d never done a character like Kelly before on many different levels, so it was really fun to play with a character that I had never done anything similar to before and I love that kind of a challenge. I also love true crime and I like genre-bending movies and I like things that kind of feel really unique in that sense…and as soon as I started the script I was obsessed with who the killer was, it’s such a fun read.” Remembering working opposite to Hale, Gardner shared, “Lucy’s just such a pro and so kind to everybody and so funny and just lovely, she was great to work with and she and I got to do some improv together and sort of build our friendship…and we just had so much fun working together, she’s the best.” F*** Marry Kill is in theeaters now and can be streamed on Amazon Video and Apple TV.
