In a sit-down conversation with uInterview, veteran actor Enrico Colantoni shared details about the experience of portraying a rude version of himself during a guest spot on the legal drama Suits L.A. Asked if he had any trepidation when expressing himself through the character, he told uInterview founder Erik Meers, “Certainly I did. Although, you know, you gotta put the ego aside and forget how people may or may not perceive you, and just reinvest in the fact that, ‘This is me having fun.’ This is certainly a part of me that I don’t get to express, but there’s a part of me that wants to be that guy… I’ve been describing [‘that guy’] as that kid who kicks you in the shin and then runs away, you know, who wants to get away with being a little s— disturber, and then if he gets caught it’s sort of like, ‘I didn’t do it!’ You know? I was never allowed to be that as a child.” Suits L.A. can be streamed now on Peacock.
