Irish hottie Chris O'Dowd, best known for his roles in Bridesmaids and Friends With Kids, has been in Cannes promoting his new film, The Sapphires, which has been receiving glowing reviews and is being described as the "Aboriginal Dreamgirls." Produced by The Weinstein Co., which debuted the Academy's Best Picture winner The Artist at last year's Cannes Film Festival, The Sapphires is stirring up all kinds of pre-Awards season buzz.
In the film, O'Dowd plays a manager to an Australian girl group, but judging by this exclusive video we captured in Cannes, it looks as if O'Dowd has some singing talent all his own.
