Team USA's decathlon silver medalist Trey Hardee, 28, has to be both strong and lean to place in what is considered the granddaddy of all Olympic sports, and he's got a slew of diet secrets to get him in tip-top, silver medal-winning shape.

"I eat a lot of pistachios, so I probably won't stray too far from those," Hardee said when he sat down exclusively with Uinterview to talk about training for the 2012 London Olympics. "I really like red and green peppers — I can put those on anything," Hardee revealed.

But at the end of the day, Hardee has one major dietary fallback that made his eyes light up. "Quinoa," he said. "Quinoa is something that, again, I can put it with anything, and it just takes on that flavor. Packed with nutrients, carbs and protein, just all around healthy."

That doesn't mean that Hardee is a total stranger to less healthy ways of life. "I might beeline it to McDonalds after the Olympics," he said.
