EXCLUSIVE: The Strange Familiar Premiere New Acoustic Music Video For 'Rain'

The Strange Familiar are premiering the video for their single “Rain” exclusively on Uinterview.

The Strange Familiar, which includes the husband and wife team of Jeff Andrea and Kira Leyden, are showcasing an acoustic video for “Rain,” the first single off their newest album The Day The Light Went Out. Audiences might recognize The Strange Familiar from television, where their songs have been featured on The Vampire Diaries and Pretty Little Liars.

The Strange Familiar's Leyden spoke with Uinterview and revealed what makes “Rain” so special.

“Jeff and I had our first child and named her ‘Rain.’ She’s a little girl born in May. That’s what really inspired the song. I was pregnant writing the song, and we had already recorded the first half of the album. It was exciting,” Leyden said.
