By Natthakan Garunrangseewong • It’s been an eventful summer for the Jonas Brothers and Demi Lovato. Nick Jonas is currently starring in the London theater production of Les Miserables, Joe Jonas and Demi just broke up and Kevin Jonas is adjusting to his new married life. But despite this hectic season and date reschedules, come August 7, the Disney Channel stars will officially kick off the Jonas Brothers 2010 World Tour in Tinley Park, Illinois, and they couldn’t be more excited.

"We love recording and creating new music in the studio and enjoy doing television, but performing live music together for our fans is the ultimate. Nothing can compare to the energy from the crowd," Nick said in a statement. The tour will be a cross promotion for the Disney Channel Original Movie, Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam, starring all members of the tour. "We can’t wait to get back on the road this summer with Demi and our friends from Camp Rock. Together we’re going to bring our fans a show that they’ll never forget."

But with the recent breakup between Joe and Demi, just how will this affect the tour mates’ cross-country appearances? Joe stated that regardless of their split, the friendship he has with Lovato can overcome any possible tension. "It was my choice to breakup, but I love her as a friend. She’s been there for me when I needed her. I will continue to be her friend and be there for her," Joe told Us recently. "There’s never really a good time for something like that. I really care about her. In this business. It’s really hard to find people who are going to be there for the rest of your life."

Lovato is also confident that things won’t be awkward between the former lovebirds. "I’m sure things will go totally back to normal once we’re on tour together," she told Teen Vogue.

In a Camp Rock 2 duet recently leaked online, "Wouldn’t Change a Thing," the two sing about situations eerily similar to their own personal relationship. Lovato described that the song "is close to [her] heart" and it’s pretty clear why. The lyrics talk of two opposite people trying to make their relationship work through the uncertainties and complications. In the chorus, they sing "You can drive me insane / But I can’t stay mad at you for anything … We’re perfectly imperfect / But I wouldn’t change a thing."

Fans can expect this song, other Camp Rock 2 related tracks and special guests to make an appearance on the tour. Kevin Jonas is ecstatic for the themed tour and said they have planned a "very large scale" production.

"We came up with an idea and we really felt we hadn’t used video to its full potential yet during a live concert,” Kevin revealed to Just Jared Jr. "So we’re really taking that to the next step … We have a lot of people there and use of production just by people and so for us we would build, I’m talking 20 feet high video walls. Very, very large scale things. It’s gonna be a lot of fun.”

Nick is also anticipating the tour to be "unlike anything we’ve ever done before" and is looking forward to performing live music again once he wraps up Les Miserables by the end of July. "We cannot wait to get out there again and play shows and to be with our fans," Nick said to MTV News. "We’re trying to bring an entertaining show to our fans. We’re working it out now and we’re trying to step up our game."

The youngest Jonas brother recently stirred the rumor mill of the band’s break up in February when he unexpectedly released his first solo album, Who I Am, under the artist name Nick Jonas & the Administration. Despite his alternate project and theater stint, he is telling fans not to worry, and that the Jonas Brothers will still put on more good shows together as one band.”We’ve had the opportunity to go and do things, dreams of ours that we’ve been able to fulfill," Nick told Billboard.com. "I think that this time has drawn us closer as brothers, made us stronger, and we’re looking forward to another great year."

The tour is currently scheduled hit major cities across the United States and will run through early November, with shows extended to South American locations such as Chile, Argentina and Brazil. Future plans include European hotspots in England, Germany and Italy but dates have not been firmly set. But if you have any doubts that Joe and Demi’s break up or Nick’s side projects may potentially ruin the tour, think again. Even with separate things happening in their lives, the thing all four stars share is their love and passion for music and acting. "Nothing is more important to me than the relationship I have with my fans," Lovato posted her on Twitter.

Camp Rock 2 premieres on the Disney Channel September 3.
