Ex-Stripper Amber Rose To Speak At The Republican National Convention
Former stripper and model Amber Rose will make an appearance at the Republican National Convention in support of Donald Trump, whom she has been known to criticize over the years.
Rose, 40, garnered attention in 2008 after appearing in a Young Jeezy music video and beginning a relationship with rapper Kanye West. In 2013, she married Wiz Khalifa, whom she had a son with before divorcing a year later.
The model fiercely opposed Trump during his first run for the presidency, calling him a “f–ing idiot” during an interview with The Cut in 2016. She went on to say that she “really hope[s] he’s not president.”
Despite this criticism, she began endorsing Trump this past May by posting a photo with the former president and first lady, Melania Trump, with the caption “Trump 2024.” Her display of support upset many of her fans.
Earlier this month, Rose posted a photo of herself in a bikini and a red “Make America Great Again” hat.
The convention will be held in Milwaukee from July 15-18. However, the promise of Rose’s presence has upset certain GOP leaders.
“I get you want to convey a certain message that this isn’t your father’s Republican Party under Trump,” a source close to the Republican National Committee told the New York Post. “But isn’t there someone better than an OnlyFans porn creator?”
