Adrian Peterson‘s son, Adrian Peterson Jr., is being lauded on social media after the former running back posted a highlight reel of his seventh-grader son’s best clips this season on social media.
“Keep putting that work in and all your dreams will come true,” he stated in the caption. “Keep God 1st and you’ll never fail.”
Ten days later, ESPN shared this reel on its SportsCenter NEXT X account, writing in the caption that “C/O 2030 Adrian Peterson Jr. is up next.”
Many X users who commented on the reel agreed that Peterson Jr. might have serious potential in the NFL.
“Kid looks like an athlete,” said one user. “It’s gotta be in the genes. His mom or pops must’ve been a h-lluva athlete back in the day.”
“Future Sooner,” another user declared.
“100% NFL 1st Round Pick,” yet another proclaimed.
The elder Peterson has faced numerous problems in recent years.
In February 2022, Peterson was arrested on a felony for a domestic violence incident between him and his wife, Ashley Brown.
The verbal and physical altercation happened on a Houston-bound plane. Three months later, he agreed to finish 20 sessions of domestic violence and alcohol counseling within six months.
