Eva Longoria and Looking For Love star Ernesto Arguello are officially an item, confirmed the former Desperate Housewives actress.
Longoria and Arguello met on the set of Looking For Love, a reality dating show Longoria produced and on which Arguello, a Miami entrepreneur, was “looking for love.” On the show, Arguello picked Miss USA Shandi Finnessey as his date, but the pair soon split.
“I think that’s why our relationship is so special – we truly started as friends,” Longoria told People. “I guess we have the press to thank for pushing us to see something we didn't see!" On Thursday, Longoria tweeted, “Happy to share NOW that it’s true! Couldn’t be happier.” Arguello retweeted Longoria’s message and added, “Me too baby, I LOVE YOU.”

Back in April, Longoria vehemently denied dating Arguello, taking to Twitter to write, “WHAT?! AGAIN? Sorry guys, still not dating @ernestoarguello Who are these 'sources'?? Sorry @ernestoarguello is NOT dating me, but u can see who he is dating on #ReadyForLove tomorrow night on NBC after #TheVoice!"
Longoria’s rep also responded to the rumors at the time. "Eva is not dating Ernesto," she told E! News. "She is friends with all of the guys and matchmakers from the show, but nothing further."
Longoria and her ex, NBA player Tony Parker, divorced in 2010 after three years of marriage.
