TikTok star and creator of the Club Rat series Eva Evans died at 29. With over 300,000 followers on TikTok, the New York City-based content creator was known for her videos, which ranged from commentary to snippets of her life.

Evans went on to create the comedy series Club Rat. According to Prime Video, where the series is available to stream, Club Rat focuses on “a self-absorbed influencer who attempts to re-enter the chaotic New York City dating scene after a candid video of her humiliating breakup goes viral.” Evans starred in the series as the main character.

On Sunday, Evans’ sister, Lila Joy, shared the news of her passing in an Instagram post. Evans’ cause of death has not been revealed.

“Yesterday my family received news that our sweet, fabulous, creative, caring, hilarious Eva, my beautiful sister, has died. After 24 hours, I still find myself in a constant cycle of denial and acceptance, so I know how unbelievable and hard to process this news will be . . . I wish I had Eva here now to refer to because she would have better words and know how to say what I don’t.”

Fans flooded Evans’ social media to pay their respects.

Model and actress Julia Fox also made a video paying tribute to Evans, saying, “She was a TikTok star and a New York icon. I always saw her as a little sister, and I knew she looked up to me. She was so young. Still had so much to do in life. But she lived life to the fullest.”

Last week, fellow TikTok content creator Kyle Marisa Roth also passed away. Roth was known for her celebrity gossip videos.
