Erin Andrews, 37, is suing the Marriott International for allowing her stalker to book a room next to hers and film her through a peep hole.

ERIN ANDREWS SUES FOR $75 MILLION

The Dancing with the Stars host and former Fox Sports reporter is suing the Marriott International for allowing her convicted stalker to book a room next to hers and film her getting undressed through a peephole in the wall. The video went viral after it was posted on the internet.

The incident occurred in 2008 when Andrews was covering a football game at Vanderbilt University. Andrews’s stalker, David Barrett, was convicted in 2009 and served 30 months in prison.

Andrews claims that the hotel gave Barrett her room number without her knowledge. Andrews originally filed the lawsuit against the hotel in 2010 and had then only asked for $10 million, but after being asked to confirm the amount requested earlier this week, the number had gone up.

Andrews is suing Marriott for negligence, invasion of privacy and infliction of emotional distress.

The trial will be held in February.
