Eric Trump said he “guarantees” his father, Donald Trump, will win the 2024 election over President Joe Biden, he told Fox & Friends this week.
Eric cited the criticism of the Biden Administration from “upset” Americans. He also mentioned the gag order against Trump and his sons that would prohibit him from discussing his legal battles.
Recently, several conservatives have expressed disappointment in Trump’s new abortion policy. Eric claimed they would still vote for him, claiming there is “only one option” in the election.
“I know we’re going to win. I know we’re going to win because I know where this country is,” Eric stated. “I can feel the sentiment of this country. And people are not buying what’s happening right now. The mainstream media, they’ll keep on peddling their nonsense.”
“But Americans are upset,” he continued. “This country is going down the tube. And they miss the guy who did a great job for this nation, which was Donald Trump. And he’s going to be back in office, I guarantee it.”
A new Wall Street Journal survey showed a preference for Trump in six battleground states: a six-point lead in North Carolina, a five-point lead in Arizona, four in Nevada and three in Michigan and Pennsylvania.
The ballot also included third-party and independent candidates. Biden’s performance was also rated negatively in the seven battleground states.
Eric’s wife, Lara Trump, was recently elected as co-chair of the RNC, leading cries of nepotism from fellow Republicans.
