Eric Dane & Rebecca Gayheart Divorcing After 14 Years Of Marriage

Former Grey’s Anatomy star Eric Dane, 45, is getting divorced from Rebecca Gayheart, 46.

Gayheart has filed for divorce after 14 years of marriage. She is seeking joint legal custody and physical custody of their two daughters. She is also seeking spousal support from Dane.

In the past few years, Dane has gone through a lot. In April 2017, Dane’s rep announced that the actor was going to take a hiatus from his show The Last Ship. “Eric asked for a break to deal with personal issues. He suffers from depression and has asked for a few weeks of downtime and the producers kindly granted that request,” the rep said. He also struggled with an addiction to pain killers in 2014 and was involved in a nude tape scandal with Kari Ann Peniche in 2009.

The couple said in a statement to ET, “After 14 years together we have decided that ending our marriage is the best decision for our family. We will continue our friendship and work as a team to co-parent our two beautiful girls as they are the most important thing in the world to us. We kindly ask that you respect our privacy during this time as we navigate the next phased our lives.”
