Emma Watson caused a minor Twitter meltdown when she tweeted a photo of Matthew Lewis, formerly known as Neville Longbottom from the Harry Potter films, in his current role as a soldier.

Matthew Lewis Continues To Get Hotter After Harry Potter

Lewis, who is starring as a soldier in the BBC Three dramedy Bluestone 42, made headlines around the time the Harry Potter series came to an end when he was deemed the most changed actor in the series – going from ugly duckling to full on heartthrob.

Needless to say, the Harry Potter fandom has been fully invested in Lewis’ career ever since, which has been difficult for some as the actor has remained mostly in the UK since the last Harry Potter film was released in 2011. While active on Twitter, Lewis also kept himself a bit more sheltered from public scrutiny, so when Watson shared a photo of Lewis in his full army costume, the Internet went wild.

Lewis quickly responded, writing, “Always said you’re my favourite!”

Fans were quick in expressing their adoration for Lewis, and made even more happy when Lewis made his personal Instagram account public a few days later, on March 8.
