Emma Watson is featured in a new trailer for her thriller inspired by the British TV show Black Mirror.

The Circle is based on the 2013 international best-seller novel by Dave Eggers, which follows a young woman who joins a powerful tech company. The film was written and directed by James Ponsoldt.

Mae Holland (played by Watson), a recent college grad, gets a job at The Circle, a tech company that falls somewhere between Apple, Google and Facebook. However, despite its motto “Secrets Are Lies,” the company’s commitment to transparency masks the ambitions of its founders, including Bailey (Tom Hanks), for a complete surveillance state. The company develops cameras called SeeChange, which are glass eyeballs that transmit footage in real-time, eroding any notion of privacy.

In the two-minute video, Watson teams up with Star Wars’ actor John Boyega to overthrow Silicon Valley.

The Circle is a fun ride,” Ponsoldt told U.S.A. Today. “We live through [Watson’s character] Mae. She is us. You will walk out of the theater and have a serious look at yourself and how you’re living your life.”

The film also stars Patton Oswalt, Karen Gillan and Ellar Coltrane. Alicia Vikander was originally supposed to star, but Watson replaced her in the role last year.

The Circle opens in theaters on April 28, 2017.
