Emma Watson responded to claims that she’d be filling the role of Anastasia Steele in the upcoming film adaptation of the Fifty Shades of Grey trilogy by E.L. James.

“Who here actually think I would do 50 Shades of Grey as a movie? Like really. For real. In real life,” Watson tweeted on Sunday. "Good. Well that’s sorted then.”

The rumors that suggested Watson would be cast as the sex partner to billionaire Christian Grey began when online hacking group Anonymous claimed to have found evidence of her taking on the role. It posted documents online that allegedly came from the German Constantin Film studio.

James, the books’ author, had taken to Twitter on Friday to shut down the casting rumors. “There have been no casting decisions made about Fifty Shades,” James wrote.

Fifty Shades of Grey has yet to cast any actors, lock down a director or confirm a completed script from screenwriter Kelly Marcel. However, Universal and Focus Features are looking to release the film during the summer of 2014.
