Emma Watson has clearly put her long-lasting relationship with Will Adamowicz behind her, and his now dating Oxford student and rugby player Matt Janney.

Watson, 23, and Janney, 21, were spotted strolling along the beach in the Caribbean last week. Wearing a black bikini, Watson walked hand-in-hand with Janney, who was sporting a pair of striped lime green swim shorts. At one point, the new couple stopped to take in the view and Janney, with his arm around the Bling Ring star, gave her a kiss on the forehead.

“They didn’t have a care in the world. Matt was very protective of Emma, often putting his arm around her,” a source told the Daily Mirror. “[Janney] was being a gentleman the whole time. He is clearly very much into her, but then who wouldn’t be, she is one of Hollywood’s hottest stars? They couldn’t stop giggling and smiling the whole time.”

”It’s early days but they’re very much into each other. Matt’s a real hit with the girls but he may have finally met his match,” the Mirror source continued. “[Watson] doesn’t suffer fools gladly. But Matt’s a lovely guy, charismatic and intelligent. They make a great couple.”

Watson & Janney Met At Oxford

Janney met Watson at Oxford University, where the actress transferred in 2011 after leaving Brown University in Rhode Island. It’s speculated that the two began dating in early December after Watson watched him on the rugby pitch, leading Oxford to a win over their rival school Cambridge at London’s Twickenham Stadium, reported E! News. Watson had been a spectator during the 33-15 win and later went to the victory party in downtown London.

Watson’s split from Adamowicz was confirmed by her spokesperson earlier this month. Apparently, the two broke up over the summer. As for Watson’s most recent rumored relationship, her spokesperson has declined to comment.

“We do not comment on speculation regarding our clients’ private lives I’m afraid,” the spokesperson told the MailOnline.
