Emma Watson and millionaire’s son William Adamowicz have decided to call it quits despite numerous rumors that suggested that the pair was headed towards an engagement.
Watson, 23, first confirmed her relationship with Adamowicz, whom she met at Oxford University, back in 2011. They were last seen in public together back in November while attending a The Staves concert at West London’s Shepherd’s Bush Empire. However, Watson’ spokesperson claims that the relationship fizzled long before then.
“Emma and Will separated last summer and are no longer in touch,” the spokesperson told the Mirror UK.
Watson had admitted in the past that her level of fame is a hindrance when it comes to her personal life. Her increasingly busy schedule with film roles is said to be partially to blame in her most recent split. For future suitors, there are a few deal breakers on her end, including those that are fixated on her early role of Hermione Granger in the Harry Potter films and shallow individuals.
“The very worst are those that say, 'Are you the girl from Harry Potter?” Watson once told the Telegraph. “The worst date I’ve ever been on was a guy who told me he couldn’t be friends with fat people or anyone who was unattractive. I realized pretty quickly that he was a nutter.”
