Emily Ratajkowski Channeled Her Inner Cher For Her 2019 Met Gala Look
Emily Ratajkowski had one of the most daring looks of Monday nights 2019 Met Gala!
In her interpretation of this year’s theme, “Camp: Notes on Fashion,” the model-actress channeled her inner Cher and arrived in the ultimate naked dress. Her custom Dundas dress design sparkled from bottom to top and featured a full bodice cut-out, open back, and a halter-neck tie.

Ratajkowski took her look to the next level by accessorizing it with a headpiece that featured feathered wings, a diamond headband, and strands of jewels that draped from ear-to-ear.
Fans were quick to point out the similarities between Ratajkowski’s sheer look and Cher’s signature naked-dress style from over the year’s.
While speaking of her look, Ratajkowski told GMA that the Vogue-hosted fashion event was the perfect opportunity to pay homage to the legendary singer and actress.
“For me, Cher is just such an icon; she is someone that I have always looked up to. Moonstruck was one of my favorite movies growing up. It still is,” the model said. “There’s not always a moment to really pay homage to her – and we had this really great vision of doing that and pushing that limit, and this is the opportunity to do it.”

To help bring her vision to life, Ratajkowski turned to Dundas and Bousis, who custom designed the hand-beaded gown that echoed some of Cher’s signature looks.
“Emily is the only person who could wear this dress; it was made for her,” Bousis said.
“I’m just obsessed,” Ratajkowski said. “This is that moment where you are like, ‘OMG it is coming together — it is going to happen.'”
