Elton John, 72, began his career in 1970 with the release of “Your Song.” Today, the song has been covered numerous times by the likes of Ellie Goulding, Rod Stewart and Billy Paul. Ever since the release of his debut album Empty Sky, John has been topping the charts. Some other hit singles of his include “Tiny Dancer” and “Benny and the Jets.” These top hits have only helped with his launch into fame and eventual worldwide sale of over 300 million records.
The rock star’s latest work can be found in the soundtrack of his 2019 biographical, fantasy film Rocketman. The film follows the singer’s thriving career in the 1970s as he uses his piano skills to become one of the world’s greatest legends.
John will be kicking off the tour next April in New York, New York and will be hitting other major cities along the way, including Brooklyn, New York, and Newark, N.J. His last show will be on December 18 in Boondall, Australia.
