Elton John Poses With ‘Rocketman’ Star Taron Egerton At 2019 Cannes Film Festival

Music legend Elton John had a duet with Taron Egerton, the actor who will portray John in the movie Rocketman, at the Cannes Film Festival. Dexter Fletcher, the director of the movie, said the film “is the rated-R musical Bohemian Rhapsody couldn’t be.” The film will detail John’s life from his years as a prodigy at the Royal Academy of Music all the way to his struggles with depression, substance abuse and his acceptance of his sexual orientation. Rocketman releases in the U.S. on May 31.
