Adding to his roster of household names playing Car Karokee, James Corden can cross off Elton John the list as of Super Bowl Sunday.

John joined Corden for his popular segment Carpool Karokee. The duo sang along to “Don’t Let The Sun Go Down on Me, “Your Song,” “I’m Still Standing,” “Crocodile Rock,” “Tiny Dancer” and “Circle of Life” from The Lion King. During Lion King, John even wore a lion costume.

The two were even decked out in the famous Elton John ensemble with feathered boas and signature sunglasses.

Along with covering the classic songs, the two talked about style, the fact that John doesn’t own a cell phone and his children. “I can’t believe I’m sitting in the car telling you this. It’s changed my life,” John said of his kids. “I thought I was too old to be a dad. No, I’m not too old to be a dad. You’re not too old to do anything. Those kids have changed my life completely; changed our life completely.” Elton became a father in 2010 and again in 2013.

By the end of the segment, Corden admitted he couldn’t believe he was in the car with John. “If I could tell my my 12-year-old self I would be doing this with my life, my head would explode,” Corden said.
