Sir Elton John has a little bit of "glee" left over after becoming a new dad with partner David Furnish.
The British rock legend has teamed up with Glee star Matthew Morrison, who plays Mr. Schuester on the hit series, for Morrison's upcoming solo album.
"I just did it … on Monday," John told Parade about the recording. "It's a duet. It's great, really fantastic," the musician gushed. He had only good things to say about Morrison's vocal contribution. "He sings great on it." John describes the track as "a melody of 'Mona Lisas and Madhatters' going into 'Rocket Man.'"
So far, it hasn't been discussed if any of John's music might appear on the show, but the singer is open to the possibility. "Of course I'd be into that," he said. "It's always great when someone covers your songs, no matter how good or bad the version is. You know, I started out as a songwriter, so I always get a kick out of that."
