Tickets for John’s shows are now available at stubhub.com and start as low as $129 for the Minneapolis event and $180 for the concert in Albany.

The story of John’s rise as a celebrated pianist and pop-rock star is also soon set to be portrayed on the big screen, in the biopic film Rocketman. Due for a May 31 release, the movie will star Taron Egerton — who co-starred with John in 2017’s Kingsman: The Golden Circle — as the legendary musician and will also include Bryce Dallas Howard, Jamie Bell and Game of Thrones alum Richard Madden in its cast. John serves as a producer for the movie, which is directed by Dexter Fletcher.

More than 40 years after launching his musical career, Grammy and Oscar winner John’s songs like “Rocketman,” “Bennie and the Jets,” “Goodbye Yellow Brick Road” and “I Guess That’s Why They Call It The Blues” have remained beloved among fans.

Rocketman will surely gain much interest at the box office following the success of Queen film Bohemian Rhapsody, one of this year’s Oscar-nominated films that became the highest-grossing musical biopic ever despite earning mixed critical reviews.

Check out this clip from Rocketman of Egerton singing John’s classic hit “Tiny Dancer,” as well as the actor and the rest of the cast discussing John and his music.
