Tesla CEO Elon Musk was slammed on social media for offering singer-songwriter Taylor Swift a child after she endorsed Kamala Harris as president.

Swift announced his endorsement for Harris in an Instagram post on Tuesday night.

“Like many of you, I watched the debate tonight,” she wrote in the caption. “If you haven’t already, now is a great time to do your research on the issues at hand and the stances these candidates take on the topics that matter to you the most. As a voter, I make sure to watch and read everything I can about their proposed policies and plans for this country.”

“Recently, I was made aware that A.I. of ‘me’ falsely endorsing Donald Trump’s presidential run was posted on his site,” she added. “It really conjured up my fears around A.I. and the dangers of spreading misinformation. It brought me to the conclusion that I need to be very transparent about my actual plans for this election as a voter. The simplest way to combat misinformation is with the truth.”

“I will be casting my vote for Kamala Harris and [Gov.] Tim Walz [(D-Minnesota)] in the 2024 Presidential Election,” the singer-songwriter stated.

“I’m voting for @kamalaharris because she fights for the rights and causes I believe need a warrior to champion them,” she declared. “I think she is a steady-handed, gifted leader and I believe we can accomplish so much more in this country if we are led by calm and not chaos.”

“I was so heartened and impressed by her selection of running mate @timwalz, who has been standing up for LGBTQ+ rights, IVF, and a woman’s right to her own body for decades,” she stated.

“I’ve done my research and made my choice,” Swift said. “Your research is all yours to do, and the choice is yours to make. I also want to say, especially to first-time voters: Remember that in order to vote, you have to be registered! I also find it’s much easier to vote early. I’ll link where to register and find early voting dates and info in my story.”

“With love and hope, Taylor Swift Childless Cat Lady,” the singer wrote, alluding to the remark that Sen. JD Vance (R-Ohio) gave to women without children in 2021.

On Wednesday at midnight, Musk created an X post in which he replied to Swift’s presidential endorsement.

“Fine, Taylor … you win … I will give you a child and guard your cats with my life,” the X CEO wrote on his platform.

He received rapid backlash for his comments from other X users.

“This is what you post when you have 197 Million followers?” user @soulconnect4 asked. “Harris won the debate tonight, and now you want to give a child to Taylor Swift, who has no interest in you. Is that some sort of alpha male dominance thing to make you feel powerful and virile? Is it working??”

“This tweet just takes things to a whole new level of strange,” @DeeWaynee94 said. “It’s not even eccentric at this point, just outright unsettling.”

On September 1, Musk reposted an anonymous X post that the 4chan forum seems to have shared in 2021 without any additional data.

The post asserts that “only high T alpha males and aneurotypical people” can become free-thinkers.

In early September, the X owner had also been criticized on his platform for posting an A.I.-generated image of Harris, which depicted her as a “communist dictator.”
