On Nov. 4, tech billionaire Elon Musk attacked Jennifer Lopez for “not warning” the public about the crimes of Sean Combs when the two were previously romantically involved.
Musk sat down for a nearly three-hour conversation with Joe Rogan on an episode of The Joe Rogan Experience. During the conversation, the two covered a wide range of topics, including recent developments in Combs’ criminal case.
Combs was arrested on Sept. 6 on charges of sex trafficking, racketeering and transportation to engage in prostitution. Numerous victims have attested to the traumatic assault they were forced to undergo at sex events Combs would arrange, with a hotline for victims of the parties receiving over 3,000 calls in less than 24 hours.
Recently, a list of people who were present at Combs’ parties was released, linking many A-list celebrities to the controversial figure. This has stirred conversation about public figures’ supposed neglected responsibility to inform authorities of Combs’ behavior.
Musk agreed with Rogan, “It’s like, J-Lo was like his ex-girlfriend. How many people did she warn against Diddy, right? Oh, zero, OK. Maybe we shouldn’t trust her. People in the music entertainment industry had to know that Diddy was abusing, you know, kids basically and yet they still fed him kids. Like, where’s the accountability? They had to know.”
Combs and Lopez were romantically involved between 1999 and 2001.
