As the investigation into reports of bad behavior on set of The Ellen Show continues, three top producers have been fired. Executive producers Ed Glavin and Kevin Leman and co-executive producer Jonathan Norman have all left the show.
The investigation into the studio, led by Warner Bros., was prompted by reports of troubles on set in the past few months after allegations of mistreatment of the show’s crew and a toxic workplace were released.
Host Ellen DeGeneres has been publically as being happy, funny and loved by all up until these allegations. In a Zoom call with all show employees, Mary Connelly a veteran producer shared how they would like “working on the show to be as fun as the show itself.”
The investigation has not found any culture of racism on the show and both Warner Bros. and DeGeneres will be taking steps to address all issues raised and hold education and training sessions to prevent negative behavior from occurring in the future.
