Ed Sheeran just announced the details of his 48-day North American arena tour on Wednesday (March 8). The tour is scheduled to kick off at the Sprint Center in Kansas City on June 29, and will wrap up in Nashville on October 6. The tour will also reach cities like Toronto, Buffalo, Miami, Boston and Brooklyn.

Presale begins on March 13 on Ticketmaster, and general public sales begin on March 17. All pre-sales are in support of Sheeran’s third album, Divide. All ticket sales will be powered by Ticketmaster’s new Verfied Fan software, which helps combat bots and scalpers, to get tickets to the true Sheeran fans.

The tour is to celebrate the extreme success the Grammy-winning singer has received with his third LP, and his No. 1 Billboard Hot 100 debut of “Shape of You,” which has topped the charts for six consecutive weeks. His second single, “Castle on the Hill” ranked at No. 6, making Sheeran the first artist to have two singles simultaneously debut in the top 10 in the chart’s 58-year history. These songs then became No.1 and No.2 in the worldwide iTunes and Spotify charts.

Sheeran is also on Forbes list for 2016 of the World’s Highest-Paid Celebrities, coming in at number 82, with $33.6 million in earnings. The wildly successful artist has also won Grammy Awards for his single “Thinking Out Loud.”

We can expect his earnings to rise again, with the new album and upcoming tour.
