In a heartwrenching post to her Instagram, Dancing With The Stars‘ Cheryl Burke shared the news of her COVID-19 diagnosis with a breakthrough case. Burke had been fully vaccinated with the Moderna vaccine. “I just feel like s–t to be quite honest, and it’s so overwhelming because it’s Sunday and the show’s tomorrow. … I just hope I didn’t spread it,” she said. “For those of you who don’t think COVID is a real thing, it’s f–king real, dude. … I don’t know what to say. I’ll be in bed. God, I can’t believe this happened.”
Burke is currently competing in Season 30 of Dancing With the Stars as Cody Rigsby‘s partner. The two scored a 24 out of 40 last week, but it is unclear how the show and the cast will proceed with news of Burke’s diagnosis.
