Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson took to Instagram on Tuesday to publicly thank the first responders who helped during an incident involving his 2-year-old daughter Jasmine.
While the actor did not divulge what happened, he clarified that his child is doing fine now. “This past Saturday night something happened to me and my family that I would never want to happen to any of you guys out there,” he said in the video. “But of course emergencies do happen. We were up all night in the emergency room, we had something scary that happened with our little baby girl Jasmine – she’s ok now, thank God,” the actor continued.

“But I just want to say thank you so much to everybody who was involved, so caring and compassionate and responsive,” he said before shouting out the 911 operator, the LA fire department and UCLA medical staff.
“Things got a lil’ hairy this weekend. Thank you LAFD first responders & UCLA medical team. We’re grateful to you all and if you ever need anything, I got your back,” he captioned the Instagram post.
The Rock concluded with some friendly advice to his fellow parents: “And to all you mommies and daddies out there, when emergencies like this happen, I would just highly recommend that you stay as calm and as focused as possible, because our little babies pick up on what we’re putting out, especially in times of stress.”
