Dwayne Johnson Once Again Tops ‘Forbes’ List Of Highest-Paid Actors

Dwayne Johnson has once again been named as Forbes magazine’s highest-paid actor. The list, which was published Tuesday, shows Johnson topping the chart for the second year in a row earning an income of $87.5 million.

A large portion of his income has come from Netflix’s soon to be released thriller Red Notice. The film also stars many other top Hollywood stars such as Gal Gadot and Ryan Reynolds. Reynolds came in as the second highest-paid actor with earnings of $71.5 million.

In addition to the film, Johnson has a very successful Under Armour clothing, Project Rock, which contributes substantially to his income.

Forbes uses the time period from June 1, 2019 – June 1, 2020 to calculate the list and as Johnson shows, Netflix has paid many of the top highest-paid actors of the year. Also, on the list with Johnson and Reynolds is Mark Whalberg making $58 million, Ben Affleck making $55 million and Vin Diesel with $54 million. All actors worked on Netflix films and series.
