Dutch Man Dies After Leaping From 100-Foot Cliff In Majorca, Spain

A man who was vacationing in Majorca, Spain from the Netherlands with his wife and son died last Thursday after attempting a dangerous jump from a 100-foot high cliff. His wife even filmed his tragic death from a boat as she attempted to capture the stunt that went horribly wrong.

In a video of the crash, the man is seen jumping from the cliff and nearly clears it, but seems to scream in fear before his body slams into rocks jutting out at the bottom of the cliff, and then hits the water afterward. A voice that’s likely his wife screams “Oh my god!” as the video cuts.

According to the Majorca Daily Bulletin, the incident occurred at one of the Malgrats Isles and tourists are fond of attempting cliff jumps at this and other locations. The man’s corpse was recovered later that day by Spanish authorities.
