‘Dumb and Dumber’ Sequel Starring Jim Carey & Jeff Daniels In The Works

Dumb and Dumber will soon have a sequel with the 1994 film’s original stars – Jim Carrey and Jeff Daniels – reprising their roles as the hapless Lloyd Christmas and Harry Dunne in Dumb and Dumber To.

After 20 years, the duo will be back in action, making it one of the most highly anticipated upcoming comedies. Further propelling Dumb and Dumber fans into excitement, Carey and Daniels took to their Twitter accounts to share photos of themselves in character on the set of the sequel.

Daniels, who took home the Outstanding Lead Actor in a Drama Series Emmy on Sunday for playing TV reporter Will McAvoy on HBO’s The Newsroom, is ready to delve head first back into Dumb and Dumber’s physical comedy. "There are some things that we're going to do in Dumb and Dumber To that make the toilet scene [in the original] seem lame,” he told E! News backstage.

“Pales in comparison,” he added. “And I can't divulge what, but just that they've topped it.”

Dumb and Dumber To is slated to hit theaters sometime in 2014.
