Drew Barrymore left the hectic Hollywood life behind her for a day to help those less fortunate, by volunteering at the San Diego Food Bank on Sunday. The Going the Distance star, 36, helped students package food alongside fellow actress Mandy Moore and Bill Clinton. The former president was in town for his foundation work and the Clinton Global Initiative conference, held at the University of San Diego.
Back in L.A., Barrymore recently wrapped Everybody Loves Whales, with Kristen Bell and John Krasinski. She opted to make the San Diego trip by herself, despite being inseparable from new boyfriend, writer Will Kopelman, of late. –EMILY EXTON
