A rapper, singer, songwriter, record producer, actor, and now officially a pot businessman — this is the list of titles to describe Drake as he joins the booming weed industry.
On Monday, Toronto native used his Instagram account to promote his new corporation, More Life Growth Company. It appears that the new business is named after the rapper’s 2017 project.
Last month, Drake’s company Dream Crew IP has already filed trademark applications in Canada and the U.S. According to the documents, the company will mainly focus on providing “cannabis products and herbs, medicinal herb extracts, herbal tea, rolling papers, dried plants as well as other merch and apparel.”
In a video that he shared on his Instagram account, “God’s Plan” singer teased the company. The short clip highlights a scene of a biodome in a snowstorm with the company’s logo spinning around in the middle. There was no further information given in the video or the caption except for the social handle for Drake’s new imprint. The handle, @morelife, is currently a private account, similarly, with no other information.

Drake has been surprising fellow celebrities with gifts to promote More Life Growth Company, and one of them happens to be Canadian TV news anchor Dina Pugliese-Mirkovich.
“That one time when @champagnepapi sent me flowers,” Pugliese-Mirkovich wrote in her caption. “Ok….so his team is out and about spreading all kinds of positive vibes with flowers to unsuspecting peeps today…but still. Lol! He’s launching a new business venture this Thursday!! Check out @morelife to be in the know. #Drake #MoreLife #AnyGuesses #SurrealTuesday #DrakeFanFromTheJump #BeautifulSurpriseBouquet #WhatIsDrizzyUpToNow.”
