Drake‘s $700,000 bet on Super Bowl LVII is creating a stir on social media.
Drake took to Instagram this week to share his bets on Sunday’s Super Bowl between the Kansas City Chiefs and Philidelphia Eagles.
His bet was made last week on the betting site Stakes.
According to his post, the wager was time-stamped “2.14 AM 2/7/2023.”
His total stake in the post reads $700,000, and his estimated payout is almost $1.5 billion should his team win.
Drake captioned the post, “My psychotic bets for Sunday are in @stake pls do not analyze the logic behind these bets there is none.”
The post earned thousands of comments, with many fans cheering him on while others called him crazy.
One comment said, “Drizzy read that NFL script. He’s about to cash out.”
Another read, “Sick the Eagles are winning.”
This wasn’t the only bet he made. He also bet $50,000 on Patrick Mahomes getting the first touchdown, $50,000 on JuJu Smith-Schuster‘s first touchdown, $25,000 on Travis Kelce being the MVP, $60,000 on an Eagles player winning MVP, $50,000 on the Chiefs winning both halves, $30,000 on the Chiefs winning each quarter.
