Drake Bell, the former Drake and Josh star who was busted for driving under the influence late last year, served just 48 hours in jail for his second DUI offense.
Bell, 30, was released from the Los Angeles County Jail Saturday, less than two days into his 96-hour sentence, reported the Los Angeles Times. He had arrived at the jail early Friday morning, and was released Saturday afternoon, spending one night in the prison.
Bell’s plea deal for his second DUI arrest included a four-day jail sentence, four years of probation, and participation in an alcohol education program.
In December of last year, Bell was arrested in Glendale, Calif., after allegedly speeding and swerving in the early morning hours. Cops apparently detected a small of alcohol coming from Bell’s car and administered a sobriety test – which he failed. The former Nickelodeon star was ultimately charged with a misdemeanor DUI.
Bell was also convicted in 2010 for a 2009 DUI in San Diego.
