The latest Hollywood childstar taking a nosedive into unlawful behavior is former Drake and Josh star Drake Bell, who TMZ reports, was allegedly busted for driving under the influence.
The Nickelodeon alum was arrested in Glendale, Calif., early Monday after allegedly speeding and swerving in and out of lanes and driving 55 in a 35 zone. Bell, 29, was pulled over near W. Doran Street and San Fernando Road at about 2:20 a.m., and cops reputedly noticed a smell of alcohol coming from the car.
Bell failed a sobriety test and spent ten hours behind bars. He was later released after posting $20,000 bail.
Bell himself was once a victim of reckless driving in an accident that occurred on the Pacific Coast Highway in 2005 that left him seriously injured. While driving with a friend, another vehicle ran a red light, resulting in a head-on collision. Bell fractured his neck, several vertebrae, lost seven teeth and obtained facial lacerations. He broke his jaw in three places and had to have it wired shut for healing.
