Singer Drake has finally addressed the alleged X-rated video of him circulating on the internet. The viral video depicted Drake engaging in a sexual act.
During his It’s All A Blur Tour – Big As the What? tour, he said, “I know y’all probably waitin’ on me to address this, so the rumors are true,” he paused before saying to the audience, “My dad is here! That’s what y’all were waitin’ for?”
The 37-year-old Canadian artist was on tour with other rappers such as J. Cole (Jermaine Cole) and Lil Durk (Durk Derrick Banks).
He did not elaborate any further about the video.
The Super Bowl-themed tour featured pre-recorded sports commentary from ESPN’s Stephen A. Smith and social media personality BenDaDonnn in between performances.
Smith had said, “Maybe what they’re saying is true—maybe Graham is past his prime, over the hill,” he said, referring to Drake’s real name, “We haven’t seen Jermaine Cole in the game all night.”
BenDaDonnn responded, “And then, correct me if I’m wrong, Stephen A., but didn’t [Drake] start an OnlyFans yesterday? On Twitter, he was trending… anyway… whatever he does tonight, he’s gonna have to step up his game. ‘Cause if he don’t, and if he take this L tonight, it’s gonna be detrimental for light skin brothers across the globe.”
Then, the popular kick streamer and friend of Drake, Adin Ross, sent the viral clip to the singer.
Ross said, “We was just looking at the s––. It’s like crazy, bro, like godd—.”
Drake responded with “like eight laughing emojis,” the five-time Grammy winner mentioned he might use Ross’ memo as his “next album intro.” Despite not attending the Grammys, Drake had plenty to say ahead of the event.
“All you incredible artists, remember this show isn’t the facts. It’s just the opinion of a group of people whose names [sic] are kept a secret. (literally, you can google it),” he wrote on his Instagram Story ahead of the annual ceremony. “Congrats to anybody winning anything for hip hop, but this show doesn’t dictate s— in our world,” he added.
