Donald Trump reposted an article saying Melania Trump’s White House Christmas decorations were better than the ones installed by the current first lady Jill Biden.
The former president took to the social media platform he started, Truth Social, to share an opinion piece from The Western Journal with the headline “Flashback to When Things Were Better: Melania Trump’s WH Christmas Decorations Throughout the Years.” The author of the column, Mike Landry, says the past two years’ decorations “cannot compare” to those during the Trump administration.
IN MEMORIAM 2022: 100 GREAT CELEBRITIES WHO DIED THIS YEAR!
“I know beauty when I see it and Melania Trump added glamor and impeccable taste in presenting the people’s White House for the holiday seasons while she was there,” Landry wrote.
The former first lady was criticized for her “dystopian” Christmas decorations in 2018 that many suggested looked like “blood trees” lining the halls.
Trump spent Christmas Day raving on Truth Social about other grievances. On Saturday, he shared a message about President Joe Biden’s immigration policies.
“We had the most SECURE Border in our history, versus the ‘horror show’ that is happening now, with record setting numbers of people, many of them hardened Criminals (including Killers, Human Traffickers and Drug Dealers), POURING INTO OUR COUNTRY at a rate the likes of which we have never seen before. The USA Is dying from within!!!” the former president wrote Christmas morning.
He also wished a merry Christmas to everyone except “the Radical Left Marxists that are trying to destroy our country.”
